I was skeptical at first, but once I played around with it, I did not want to put it down. I used to have HD projectors to watch large screen movies, but now I have a massive large movie screen theater in the size of some ski goggles. It's got Hulu, and Netflix, not to mention, I can load my 3D movies into the Oculus folder on my S7 Edge (remember to lable the folder "3D" so it will play them in the 3D for material. The games are lots of fun too. It has so many cool things about it like the social network app where you can meet people all over the world with your created avatar. You can talk to them live with a headset and mic. I just use the Samsung Earbuds that came with my S7. It's worth the price. I wish all my friends had one so we can watch movies together in the movie theater setting.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, super awesome!

When looking for a vr headset you want one with many pixels this does just that. It may not be good on the note 5 but it is fenominal on the Galaxy s7

Overall I feel that this is outstanding for its low price. The software and performance are very up to today's speed and has a cutting edge design. The only improvement I think it needs is to have a reposition button this would be helpful because it is an alternative to just taking it off and on again. Also make it so that you can decorate your home screen menu. This would make users feel more customer to this product to there taste. But overall great product and great job. Also cutoes to anyone who has to read all of these reviews

Much easier to use than I had anticipated. I appreciate the manual 'focus' feature that allows me to play games or browse the interweb without my glasses. Amazing graphics. If you're afraid of heights, don't look down while in the mountain image!
It's truly an amazing experience each time I use my Gear VR; I know it sounds 'cheesy', but it's true. I'm probably older than most people that use it and I can't get enough of it.

Cons: directional button is slightly awkward.

My intro to Virtual Reality

This product is really the perfect stepping stone into virtual reality. Surprisingly, I found the Gear to have many fun apps to download despite it being a new technology. My whole family really enjoyed the experience from the second they put it on. The only downer for me is that it requires a Samsung phone and I currently have an iPhone. I'll admit that this could sway me to switch over to a Samsung Galaxy soon though. Overall this is a really fun and valuable piece of hardware and is critical to those who want a a good introduction to VR but don't want to drop big bucks for the high end VR.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

My husband loves the Gear VR. He does not get nauseated at all and he enjoys the content it comes with.

This is such a cool device. The functionality of the touch pad really helps move the experience along. The view in the vr is very crisp and the adjustment wheel helps others get to their perfect view. The over all feel of it to me, feels brittle and cheaply made. But all of the aspects of the technology is on point and very awesomeness.

I like it but I wish it would allow me to wear my glasses ,and it messes with my hair ,and it gets its my eyes
