My whole family loves using the Gear VR. The side controls take some getting used to but with patience it is worth the time.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable
Cons: phone gets hot quickly, phone battery goes down quickly
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't work too well on an extreme thrill roller coaster

This product was provided to me on the Superman The Ride roller coaster at Six Flags New England and it does not fit too well around my eyes when the coaster makes its drops and turns. Thank goodness it had a neck strap because it came loose on the first drop from my head and fell down to my neck and with every attempt to relighten it around my neck, i had no success in doing so. It looks like a good product but I wouldn't recommend using it on a roller coaster due to the fact it uses the same tightening system as a hard hat which kept coming untightened but this was probably just the six flags version of the headset.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, six flags version used hard hat style adjustment, caused my face and eyes to sweat on ride
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enjoy my first experience with VR

I am pleased with the Gear VR. I have never used any kind of VR in the past. I find the Gear VR entertaining and enjoyable as my first VR.

I have to take my cover off the phone every time I want to use it. The fit is good but somewhat cumbersome. I keep getting a message that it is overheating. All in all I think the product could use some improvement. The picture seems a little grainy as well. I don't think I'll be using this too much

Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, message that says the unit is overheating
