I had gotten the Samsung Gear VR and given it to my son. He loves it. The games and graphics are pretty good!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Awesome when it works properly

Needs constant updates and has plenty of glitches but it is the coolest tech out there at this time and it is worth dealing with the glitches to get the awesomeness of the device (most days).
Pros: Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, just cool
Cons: Poor quality, glitchy

The VR is easy to set up and easy to use. I have had multiple problems backing out of photos and videos. It's like everything just stops. The only solution I've found is to dismount the phone close out the program and re-mount the phone. Also, integrated headphones of some type would be good also.
Pros: Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: inadequate controls

I haven't dug in as much as I should on this yet. What I have done is pretty cool. Takes a bit to get used to and if you have one eye stronger than the other it affects what you see a bit. But over all I enjoy it .

This worked fine with my Galaxy S7 edge phone. Even my grandson was impressed with it.

The best portable VR device so far

Alright, I got this for free with my Samsung galaxy S7 Edge, so I am not going to say anything reg the price. However, I am still firmly believe it has unique value against serious VR tools such as PS VR. You can really take this VR experience with you in a bag to anywhere, and chill out at hotel during a business trip. The device itself is quite light weighted and Samsung galaxy s7 edge combined to be the optimal choice.
However, if you have to wear glasses to movie (which I do, so I hate 3d movies, have to wear a reading glass + the 3D glass, kind of stupid), you will find yourself having hard time enjoy this for more than 20min, because your eyes get tired easier than others. I have never try wearing a reading glass with it and I certainly wouldn't, but this really just the only con so far I ever had with this product, or VR products in general.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Not high def, can't use for long
