From seeing it in the commercial, I really wanted one. But I feel like its really pointless to me because it only does simulations.
You have to download basically everything that you want to use on it.
But, IT IS LIKE NOTHING I'VE EVERY SEEN.
Samsung has a lot of upgrading with this one. But no matter what happens, I will always be apart of the galaxy nation.
Pros: Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, relaxing
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, not in high definition

Just amazing! This is my first VR experience/product. I love it. I have ordered one for my son for Christmas. I found that my phone gets very hot after what seems a very short time. I have ordered a Samsung VR cooling fan for my son. Hopefully that will allow more playing time.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Built-in speakers
Cons: gets hot quickly

I bought the VR for my wife, and I've also got to play with it. It is an amazing experience putting on the device and experiencing the 3d virtual world. Every time you put it on, you realize you forget just how submerged you get.
My only constructive criticism is that I felt that the screen would not be as clear as I'd feel it could be. Even with my glasses on, and cleaning the lenses inside the device, most of the experience would have some blurry aspects, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment-- however I think that caused a little more motion sickness than I would have expected if it was clearer. Don't get me wrong though, the experience on some of the apps are so real, it's inevitable you'd get motion sickness.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: focus

Gear VR is not just Virtual Reality, it has entertainment for everyone! It is the best VR headset for your money. I have not had any issues with it and is great to pass time or to just have fun! I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to experience true VR. Samsung doing what they do best....creating great products and content!

It over heats my cell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The samsung oculus vr is a great vr . But it has it flaws it would be great if it had a small fan where the cover for the phone is placed to cool down the phone .just a idea
