For the price and its simplicity, positively amazing. The only draw back is that the focus is not 100%. But with the right headphones, you are on your way to amazing 360 video. Netflix has an awesome app where it seems that your home is somewhere in the Colorado mountains.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: not all in focus

Imagine a Group Live Experience and WOW!

The true potential of VR is experienced when viewing a 3D 360 production by the Felix and Paul Studios such as "KA" and others. These guys have mastered true immersion into another world. What becomes so very obvious is the need for GROUP, LIVE experience of this immersive reality that includes 3D. Because the individual person with a Gear VR viewer becomes their own director of "camera views" a group of people watching a live theater experience will choose their own thing to look at. ALSO.... an increase to 4G resolution on the screen will sooooo impact the reality of the scene. 3D 360 with an audience (like audio in the Bway show "The Encounter") will be amazing.
BUT - - - even now the phone can get too hot with the flow of large digital files. An increase in resolution and use of the dual frames for 3D vision is sure to require tech improvements. Higher resolution, 3D and surround sound and you're really in another world.

For the beginner, I have there first Model

First - purchased this, I overlooked the fact that this was only available for the Note 5, S6 and S6 edge.
Second - As a developer, I can understand why they're not many apps available on their Oculus App Store. I'm sure in time there will be many more to come.
Now for the good stuff.
When I first tried them I was blown away. It took me two days to go through all the different apps and games and playing around with it, in general.
AS for the device itself, the only downside was that you have to always charge your phone, I'm hoping that when I receive my new one that they provide an extra external port to keep your phone charged.
Oculus Video Libary I'm not to fan of. I don't like the idea that you have to stream your movies, it seems that it's always having to buff when trying to watch a movie
But NetFlix, now that's another story. I'm extremely happy with Netflix. it works great. Now I get to watch all my movies on a big screen in my own private theater.
The graphics are a little pixeled, hopefully with the newer version, this will improve.
May I just say to the other reviewers who provided a bad review, Be sure to do your homework. from all the reviews I've read, it seems that you didn't do your homework very well.
You have to remember that this product is what we techies like to refer as "An Extension" to your phone, or device.
The software, on the other hand, will depend on your device
So for a few tips on how to improve your phone performance.

1 - Download Task Killer
2 - Shut down anything that you plan on "Not using" while using your Oculus Viewer"
3 - If you can use a wired headset, this will avoid having to use your Bluetooth.
4- Close all apps that may be running in the background.
5 - Be sure your phone is completely charged fully.

This will help greatly and will improve performance while using it.
So, after all, that, I still give the Oculus 5 stars, considering this was the Dev addition.
