Great new experience for now and the future

I love the way this has been growing. The experience is great and new videos, games and other entertainment being added all the time. A great gift for anyone that watches movies and special events. With the ability to use the Galaxy phones is pretty sweet.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: needs memory update-able phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product after using a friend's for only a few minutes. I was a little bit hesitant at first, but now that I've had it a couple days I'm completely amazed!! if you own ANY of the compatible phones you should DEFINITELY own the VR. It's definitely a no brainer in my book. Great job occulus and Samsung!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, life like experiences, endless entertainment
Cons: battery/phone gets hot after extensive use

The best thing ever

It's perfect toy for all ages. In our family all was amazed by the quality and performance. I used it with s6 edge and recently switched to s6 edge+ and it is even better, bigger and finally I convinced my parents in-law that tech gadgets made by Samsung are the best. After that whole family using Samsung phones and 2 more VR coming to our family

The day things changed

I ordered the Gear VR off of a whim, as i saw the commercial and immediately googled the product. I had no prior knowledge samsung was even working on this. When it arrived at my house, I set it up with so much excitement, because since the time I played my first video game, I always imagined what it would be like to have virtual reality. I was not let down. I searched around the content and played with videos for a while, and just learned the interface. It was easy, friendly, and even fun just to find the apps I wanted! I decided to try my first game. I downloaded and played land's end, and I was amazed. I stood in my living room with a huge smile on my face in wonder, as i navigated around terrain and saw just how smooth the game play actually was. Then came the puzzles, not hard puzzles, but ones that made you think. Soon, I was manipulating objects with my mind, turning stones, rotating them and lifting them, and moving them all with my head movements. I was absolutely astonished, it was literally like i was playing a game with my mind. I was back in my living room at 6 years old, when I opened that nintendo, and played mario for the first time. This product is comfortable, light weight, and far less annoying then you would think it would be wearing them, almost to the point that you don't even realize your wearing them at times. I like the fact that it takes no batteries or plug to play, and it runs off of my phone instead of a console. I can't wait to see what programmers unlock in the future with the gear VR. Simply an amazing product.

Gate way to VR

This product paths a beautiful path for VR. When placing it on, you will be immersed into the interface. It does take some getting used to, beginners I found struggle to get the swiping features to work. There is an easy access tutorial for any new wearer to get familiar with the controls. The visuals can sometimes not be very HD depending on what video or game you select. To be fully emerged in VR I think graphically you should shoot for the highest quality possible.
One of my main issues with the VR is that the device it gets plugged into heats up very quickly. So there is not alot of play time avaible. Maybe a new device will need to be created to handle the hardware. Also, after about 7-10 minutes of game play most wearers feel naseas or dizzy. Overall this is a great start for VR and if we can take from reviews and keep studying the products I believe we will soon be fully immersed into beautiful VR worlds. Thank you for your time.
