Waste of money

It's a novel idea, however, its not ready for prime time yet. The viewer is too pixilated for my liking and it really doesn't focus to a clear view. At best, it is somewhat focused. You cannot make out fine details of a person's face. Quute often, You can't even tell if they are smiling or frowning, or if they are sticking their tongue out at you.
While watching most any video, there is too much distraction from the fact that it seems like I'm looking through the bottom of a water glass at the world around me, and the distraction from the lack of full screen movie, Due to the layout of the decorations around the movie screen. And bright white on the inside of the Samsung VR? Who thought that was a good idea?
I played around with it for a good couple of hours, and I don't feel compelled to try it again. I received the Samsung VR at work and several coworkers wanted to experience it, I told them that I would check it out at home, then bring it back to work and let them try it out. Well, honestly, I'd have to say that I am not going to share it with anyone. It's almost embarrassing to know that I own one, and that it costs $99.00, where the top price should be $25.00, due to the fact that most of the content requires you to purchase the content. The picture quality just isn't there to entice me into spending even one dollar more for such a poor viewing experience.
Pros: no pro's from me
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, very pixilated viewing, price way beyond its actual value

Gets bricked by carrier updates

This is not a reliable product. It worked for two weeks, and then it got completely bricked by a carrier update one night. I contacted tech support and their suggestion was to switch carriers and get a new phone. (This is known to affect phone models SM-G920P and SM-G920F.) A factory reset on the phone will not help; there is some problem with firmware.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, defective, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is amazing. I'd give it 10 stars. Theres so much to do on it. The whole family loves it, when i feel like sharing.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, amazing
Cons: a little difficult for me find the right focus, wish the lenses adjusted independently

This does not work with my S7

At first this worked with my S7 phone. Then suddenly it won't recognize the phone at all. The Gear is now worthless. Beware! This seems to be a widespread problem with Oculus and Samsung. Please help!!!

VR is awesome in itself. Truly a future gadget to have but as of yet it's still in its infancy I think. Performance is not yet fast, quality is so-so and not hi-def as I expected, a bit cumbersome BUT I admit it's a beauty to see stuff in 3D. I can't wait for the upgrade anytime soon.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight, awesome
Cons: Not high def, performance

I was looking for something different. Easy to use. Comfortable. It's not made outta cardboard like the others like it. Only downfall is that you're only allowed to download/play Samsung apps, instead of choosing different apps or games that you'd like to play from different app stores like Google. Also you need a bluetooth remote to play games.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: limited apps, additional remote needed to play games

Great for relaxing

This is a great tool to use to relax or for private viewing of media files. Wish there was a way to select items without having to touch the side controls. The first time I looked up Note 5 it was a little difficult to get installed. Been fine since
