Fun to play with. Wish that there were more apps bit in site the developers will be doing that soon because the store constantly had updates and with the free VR push with the S7s I am sure that will get the content up.
Pros: Lightweight

Interesting product and definitely unique experience.
Need to improve on parallax and diopter adjustment as it may be difficult to focus at times.

Pros: Excellenct VR experience/picture quality. Decent value, for the price.
Cons: Large apps take up space on phone's limited memory, should be able to be kept on external memory card.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: inability to store data on external memory card

THE FUTURE REVEALED (PERIOD)

My wife and I purchased this unit for our 12 year old son! Switching his plan to an unlimited data plan was the purpose! Coming from an iPhone for over the last few years it was something to strongly consider! We saw the Gear VR and figured that would be an added feature for him to enjoy watching movies and playing games while we're in travel. After purchasing, I (the dad) had to set up his new Samsung Galaxy 7 edge and his new Gear VR!!! All I can say was WOW, WOW, WOW! This Gear VR blew me away! I told my wife to take a look at it and the same reaction with her! Having my hands involved into a few other things, I can make great use of such a unit. And note things are currently in the works! Without getting to detailed, This Gear VR is about to reach new heights! We simply love love love this unit and are expected to get our own units so that our son can enjoy his all his own! (lol) Again, the future has been revealed! What I know is this, in regards to Samsung, we know it's ONLY the beginning! the potential is endless... A few open thoughts, making the Gear VR available for an iPhone will ONLY increase sells of the Gear VR! And by making certain feature ONLY accessible from a Samsung phone, you kind of write your own script! Sorry but I'm a business, man!

I thought this was going to be just a fancy Cardboard-type viewer. But wow this on a whole other level. I can't wait to see what happens with this as more apps get developed. My only complain is that the lenses are REALLY closes to your eyes. My eyelashes sometimes touch the lenses.
