Gear VR is fun for the family

I got the Gear VR for my family to try and we have been having fun ever since we had it. The only bad thing I can say about it is that when the phone gets hot you have to stop using it. However, other than that it is a great device for doing things such as diving with sharks, taking a tour of the Eiffel Tower or another place around the world, playing games, or anything else you can think of that it offers from the comfort of you own living room. Through the Gear VR you become completely immersed in what you are looking at and it takes over all your senses.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

This product just blew my mind. Gear vr is a must have for any galaxy s6 owners. There's no way to describe how this makes you feel.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

VR, the ultimate experience

Have tried VR several times at Bergen County Mall.
I totally satisfy with unit and it was even better for first VR for Note 4, much lighter.
But I wish Samsung push harder for more contents on VR.
For now, the device itself meets my satisfaction.

This is my favorite piece of technology ever. It is hard to describe the type of experience that this VR system provides. If you have the required phone, it is a must have, you won't regret it.

Overall, I like the Gear VR. It has a lot of cool content and I like that you can also watch Netflix, etc. with it. The resolution is better than standard def, but less than high def. In 3D video, it is sufficient, however, when viewing normal content, it leaves you wishing that you had better resolution.
I have two complaints. 1. If you attach the head straps and tighten so that you don't get light on the sides, you tend to bump the lenses with your face which can leave them smudged and then blurry to see out of and 2. I just purchased both the Galaxy S6 and Gear VR and frequently get a message that the phone is overheating. They should have added small fan, etc. to keep everything cool to improve the experience. I get this when running the Samsung provided content, not 3rd party content that may not be optimized for it. This is by far the most frustrating - if it weren't for this, I would have given it 5 stars.
The amount of content is improving making it a worth while spurge for someone who likes gadgets - I would not get it for one of my tween kids, because they would run out of content that interests them too quickly.

Great price for the features

The Gear VR is great for individuals or family functions! The cost is great for the product features. The quality of the image varies based on what you are viewing, but can see some room for improvement. Best way to describe it is the VR is Standard Def compared to HD. Also, waiting for the day when you can move your body and view it in the Gear VR. It would probably be best to pick up some headphones, considering the sound is just ok. There's a pretty good selection of content to view and pretty easy to navigate around. I really like that they install an app on your phone so you can browse content even when not hooked up to the VR. Overall I would highly recommend someone picking these up.

not sure how practical this thing is, as your phone is also the battery and we all know how long our battery life is on the galaxy's. any who this thing delivers some amazing view points to activities you probably wouldnt experience other wise.
