When I first used the device, the first thing that came to my mind was: "This is now innovation". I was taken to a new, different world. Amazing features, your friends will be wowd...cool thing is...they can also use their own compatible devices....

I love how seamlessly it works. The videos are of great quality and you get immersed in them. I dislike that the glasses tend to fog when it is warm and that the phone quickly heats up if all the applications are not turned off.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: heats up quickly, glassess fog

Immersive experience

I received the Gear VR as a gift during the Holidays and I must say it is a fun experience. I downloaded quite a few games and it is such a rich and fun experience. The only flaw is the fact that a lot of games need a bluetooth gaming controller compatible with it and Samsung discontinued the controller they had back when the S5 came out. But be advised you would need either a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, or a Note 5 for it to function. Overall it is worth the price. I really have fun browsing the internet with it.
The best part is that only your phone needs to be charged and not the Gear VR. This makes it very easy to transport without needing a spare battery or charger. I am very grateful that Samsung brought Virtual Reality to the consumer very quickly. Thank you Samsung!

Cons: lack of samsung controller

Best Phone VR

I really enjoy my gear VR I have had a lot of fun with it already and a lot more is to come

A Great Product at a Fair Price

The Samsung Gear VR is a great product with lots of great features. The control panel is responsive and easy to learn. In addition to being fairly light, the set fits very well and adjusts very easily with Velcro straps.
Because the set uses your phone as the display (as well as the all the components as well), its understandable that the graphics are not top notch as that will completely use up all your phone's storage, but aside from that little detail, the Gear VR is a fantastic product. The movement is very fluid and follows your movement very precisely.
The price on the model I feel can be a little on the higher end, but as it is a fairly new technology, I can understand the pricing model.
