Love the product just wish there was the capability of additional interaction features like it moving as you walk, being able to are your hands, etc.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Great device for the price excellent. Keep increasing phone displays to 4k and also make sure the gear will be able to handle new devices.

Better than cardboard

The Gear VR set is much more comfortable for VR, however cardboard vr apps do not work with this. Oculus provides its own store to get apps from, but it is still very limited. The Gear VR is smooth as you enter into your virtual world, much smoother than cardboard is. It can get hot depending on your settings, which severly limits for playtime.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, comfortable
Cons: overheats, limited apps but growing

I gave performance an one because the issue about the phone over heats and cause the GEAR VR to send disconnect warning

I love this device! My only complaint is I had a glass screen protector on my phone, and when I put my phone in the headset the sliding clip, on the left, broke my screen protector. All in all though, this is truly an incredible product!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: the clips that hold the phone in place

For $99.00 I really wasn't expecting much. I can honestly say I love this. The picture isn't perfect but for viewing off of my cellphone way better than what I was expecting.

Very good VR on the cheap

The unit itself is very good. Simple to use and is comfortable for what it is.
The only downfall so far is not the Gear's fault. There is a limited amount of content and until the resolution on phones get higher it will never go mainstream. But if you already own a compatible phone for a $100 this is a very cool toy.
