I am so amazed by the product. Even just to have it for YouTube 360 videos, it is worth the money. You can also use it for your personal pictures and videos as well. It even does the surround photos and make it a 360 picture. All movies you watch are in theater view, it is amazing. The most surprising part is the 3D. I am so shocked that it is capable of 3D. The pictures and videos in 3D are incredible especially 3D 360. I haven't explore the gaming part yet but from just 1 demo, I am so excited with the actual game play. Only had the item for 3 days. They even have cirque du soleil show that is so unbelievable. Free!
Not all contents are HD or clear as of yet but that's on the apps and video maker. Nothing to do with the goggle. I am sure after a little bit of time, everything will be HD. For personal videos, you do have to transfer the file to your phone which requires storage space. I am sure eventually you will be able to pull it off your network drive.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This is all that I thought it would be and more. I do know there are bugs and what not, but the fact is that it is amazing, and the places that the headset takes you is out of this world. I now have my son and daughter wanting one. Samsung is awesome and I will never give your products up.

VR is the future and Samsung brings it to the mass right now. Fantastic. This is just the starting point. Can't wait to see where Samsung takes this technology in the future esp. with 4k/8k phones, and additional high res content.
Truly immersive. Anyone that I have had tried it is blown away as they smile and laugh in awe at the virtual experience I have chosen for them.
GunJack is by far one of the best games out for it. MilkVR has some incredible videos, esp one where you are a flying dinosaur in a completely cgi world.
If you have a samsung s6 this is a no brainer purchase for a chance to experience truly mobile vr.

I had the Innovator Edition VR for my Note 4 and had a lot of fun with it so when I found out there was one for my Note 5 I ordered it right away! The new design is much better, the phone doesn't overheat and there's a charger port so I can watch Netflix without stopping every 20 minutes. The only thing I don't like is the new strap design and that it doesn't come with a case. Overall I totally recommend it, they've made huge improvements not only on the unit itself but the software and content are getting better by the day!
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: straps are not as nice as the innovator edition

This is the best Virtual Experience ever! The games, movies, social experience, etc totally amazing. If you still using iphones I feel sorry for you bc this is the future. This is a huge win for Samsung bc this is true innovations. I love my Gear VR more everyday. I watch my movies on my phone using the Gear VR and it feels as if I am sitting alone in a giant size movie screen. You have to experience it for yourself bc explaining it does not do it justice.

Great entry into VR

This is a must buy for anyone that has a supported device.
Samsung, through it's partnership with Oculus, did a great job in designing and providing to consumers a product that awes the consumers into the wonderful world of VR. Gear VR is an amazing product that, given the computational limitations of a mobile platform, is able to provide realistic presence experience. 360deg photos/videos as well as watching a movie in a theater through Netflix is amazing. All of it can be done wherever you are and making you feel like you've been transported to a totally different place.
I love this product. The price is peanuts for the Gear VR... Having said that you do need an 'expensive' supported phone. I was a windows phone user and was planning to move to a different android phone but changed my mind and got a Samsung one just because of this VR functionality. I am not disappointed and Samsung has earned my respect and future business with this bold Phone+VR move!!!
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, best cost-benefit for vr at the moment

This product is an example of why Samsung is staying ahead of the competition. How realistic the VR makes you feel is just unbelievable. I can't get enough of it daily. If I could walk around with it 24/7 I would lol I'm truly in love with these things!

What a great product to get introduced to VR!
Pros: Love the Movies / Programing in the isolated rooms.
Cons: The lenses are not able to be adjusted individually to provide a custom visual field of view for each eye.
