The new Samsung vr is great with 3d features and 360 video and pictures of live helicopter rides, blue angel fly mission, major cities around the world come to life with unbelievable 360 pictures full of color and lifelike views as if you're right in the pictures themselves. I would recommend this to you.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

Good product but need to be evolved

Hi,
Technically it is a good start-point of VR technology. Though it need to be made more user friendly in terms of weight of gear, controls and way of using. Also there are not many apps/games available that can be used with this gear. overall the product is very good though the strain in the eyes can be felt after the use.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Too big, no built in headphone, no use for already saved 3d movie
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow! Looking into a pair of Gear VR goggles powered by Oculus is like living in a whole new world! You can look all around and up and down and the picture moves with it seamlessly! I've seen dinosaurs, gone fishing, been to movie theaters including one on the mood, all in a pair of Gear VR goggles! Surreal!

Samsung did a great job in design quality and VR software! The Gear VR pairs perfectly with any of Samsung's latest devices, such as Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge/or S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. The Gear VR is defiantly worth it and will provide a fun way to entertain the family/guests as each individual experiences Virtual Reality for the first time. Each time we have someone try if for the first time, their faces light up with joy and laughter.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, good software
Cons: lens fog up due to phone overheating
I would recommend this to a friend!
