The Gear VR is awesome. The only issues that I have are that there is alot of lint on the inside of lens which get in the way of the view. Lens tend to fog up frequently and if you wear glasses the lens touch your glasses smashing lens against your eye. Other than that it performs well.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: lens fog up and lint inside lens won't come off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing immersive experience

I love the oculus. And to think I almost passed it up. Every time I put it on I transport myself to another world. It is a must have gadget. The availability of free apps adds to the experience. I would highly recommend it.

Samsung VR Gear is Great...as close as it gets to being there. During some product media - I feel like I might fall off the side of a stage or a cliff. Explore scenery or ancient temples - play games. Experience landscapes which lie deep in your conscience while enjoying your favorite music. Only one draw back with Performance - the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will overheat every 30-minutes or so. Error Warning will say that the phone needs to cool down to continue. Other than that - it's super to view - without the cost of expensive VR systems. Thanks Samsung - your VR Gear has opened a whole new world for me.

Cons: phones overheating

I really enjoy VR, and this is new innovating tech. It still has some minor flaws, but mostly due to my phone overheating after using this for 30+ mins.
I enjoy showing off this tech to friends and family.

Love this Samsung VR

I have used Google cardboard and freefly headsets and the Samsung Oculus VR is superior to both. As with any new technology, there are limited games and apps but dont worry, you WILL find some games and apps that you will love. A quick download of the Oculus app and you will be on your way. The headset is light and comfortable for any age. It is user friendly and does not take long to master the unit. I love the ability to connect an external controller but it does take some getting used to while you are imersed in virtual reality. This unit will blow your mind and I love the Oculus app. I have used the unit straight for 5 hours and determined that it does not drain the battery any faster than playing a game on your phone. The only suggestion I would make to Samsung is to include a case or pouch. The plastic shipping case is ok but the headset doesnt fit back in it properly when you install the head straps. Buy this unit with no regrets!!!

Cons: no case
