This is a very good microwave for the money. I'd give it 5 stars, but this new one is replacing the exact sane model which quit cooking after just 4 years and 9 months.

This 2 cu ft 1200 w microwave oven is a super performer ! Excellent size and power for all purposes . Appearance is great and controls are easy to use.

Only recently purchased but so far so good. A couple of the controls take some time in becoming accustomed to them. The door open and shut noise is concerning as one wonders how long it will be before trouble arises. We had to purchase this GE to replace a LG which went down after 18 months which is why we are taking a cautious approach in rating the product.

Just purchased microwave.
Used it three times. Heated food items on REHEAT. Turned out perfect. Just right. Unit runs very quiet.
Heated up water, took less than the 2.5 year old microwave we replaced.
So far I am happy with the purchase.
