My 2.0 Capacity Microwave

I love my replacement microwave. It it almost the same as the one which finally quit working after 9+ years. It fits perfectly in the wall unit without having to make adjustments. It's the perfect size and has all the bells and whistles I need.

Opening button is bad design.

Button to open started to be difficult to open after 9 months. Now out of warranty and can't open microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fit my old frame perfectly!

I had a PEB2060SM2SS that finally failed, and was able to get this one, which fit the old "frame" perfectly!

Microwave oven turns on when door is opened ???

Model No. JES2051SN2SS. Our microwave oven has started turning on when the door is opened to place something inside. It was manufactured in December of 2015, we bought it new but do not have the date of purchase. Whatever happened to the time of when a company would stand behind their product for longer than 6 months to a year ? Defects can and do happen, but stand behind their product when it does…..what are the chances of replacing it with another GE model ???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great buy

My old unit burned up. It was not a GE. I have always had good luck with GE appliances. I love the performance and looks of this microwave. It is big enough and has enough power to cook larger dishes with ease. The rotating plate cooks my meals evenly and eliminates cold spots. So far I am really enjoying my GE microwave.
