It is inexpensive, looks pretty, but has flaws.

The first one of the same model lasted only two years before it just quit. At this price point it was not worth repairing and the replacement would fit the overly expensive trim kit (almost the same price as the oven itself) so it would go into the cabinet that was made just for it when we remodeled our kitchen.
It looks nice and does a good job using the "reheat" function. My issue, aside from the fact that the original of the same model only lasted two years, is with the layout of the function keys on the keyboard touch-pad. The layout is not at all intuitive. The placement of the key functions make no sense at all with frequently used keys being right next to functions that would only be used occasionally. The engineer who did the layout should be forced to live with it for a week or two!
Other than that, it is a decent unit. Let's see how long this one lasts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I personally very pleased with all GE appliances that I had purchased before. I bought this microwave 3 months ago and the size is perfect. I'm able to defrost and cook dinner for 6+ all at once. I definitely recommend it for big families.

Another Great GE Microwave

Great BIG 2.0 counter top microwave at a fantastic price. Really sleek looking with user friendly pre-set buttons! I use this model in a built in cabinet and it is amazing ~ the over-all dimensions do not reflect the fantastic space with a 16" turntable! The 1200 watts are very strong so I have often set the power to 9 since many receipes are for only 1000 watts. My only negative comment would be that you can't turn off the turntable.

Nice Looking Microwave

This GE Microwave is nice looking on the counter. Easy to read features such as the clock. Deep enough for my casserole dishes to move around on the turntable without getting stuck. Absolutlely a wonderful product. I always have had excellent GE products through the years. A name I know and trust.

replacement microwave

just replaced GE profile microwave (11 Yrs old) with the same size regular GE microwave. Very minimal differences. same power level cooks the same could not be happier

I bought this product after the frigidaire microwave I bought 2 days ago blew up after using it 2 times. This about 89 dollars higher but 3 times the value.

Like it but having a problem with door. Have to push the release button again and again but still sometime have to pull door open with second hand to open it.
