Good microwave

We bought this as a replacement for another brand that failed after 2 months and chose it because of its size (it fit our space perfectly) and the basic features. The only slight--very slight--negative is that the keypad requires more pressure to operate than I would have liked. The big question is whether it will last. If it does, I would give it 5 stars.

This microwave has a powerful 1200 watts which exceeds requirements of most cooking that we do. The basic features are user friendly allowing you to use it right out of the box. The defrost cycle is particularly useful and efficient. The large 16-inch turntable accommodates larger items than my previous microwave which had a similar sized cabinet.

I love the light comes on when opened. It has a mute button so will not sound when food is done. Popcorn button cooks it perfectly

I will not buy GE agian

On purchase it had a bent plug and no turn table I was told by GE to take it back to the store for a replacement the store told me to contact GE now I have a paperweight and no one is doing anything about it. I thought GE was suppose to be good products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
