I have only had this microwave for a week as it was a Christmas gift. So far I love it.J love the sensor heating and beverage buttons.

It was nice to be able to modify

I purchased this unit to replace a 5 year old builtin that stopped heating. Since this happened on Christmas eve day, I ran out and bought this counter top and was able to modify the original install kit; the new counter top unit fit like a glove.
After I repair the original unit, I will keep the counter top as a spare. Just in case we have another "just before the holiday" failure:-).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Vibrates

This is the 2nd one of these I have owned. I got this one because we loved the 1st one so much and we had it for several years before it finally quit. However the 1st one I picked up from the store was damaged and I had to take it back. The damage was not visible from the packing or the Box so it appears to have been damaged at the factory. I got the replaceme and this one vibrates. It vibrates enough that it actually shakes the canisters on my cabinet 4' away. It has a lot of great features and it works fine but I don't like that vibration and concerns me a little bit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple and reliable!

I had this same model for the past 16 years and never one problem till it just up and died. i wanted the same size, white, and simple buttons and functions. This is the only one I could find and was so glad GE was still making it! My only complaint is that is a bit noisier than my one from 2004.

Microwave works great. It does look cheaper made than the other GE appliances we have. We have been buying GE for years and have been pleased with them all.
