Great product. Just built a new house and had this model of microwave in my old house 11 years). It’s just a solid microwave and the style suits my kitchen decor

Worked well until the control panel went crazy

I have used GE products and always had good success. I bought this microwave last fall and it was working very well until the middle of December. The control panel showed an F3 function saying it was bad. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in when it immediately started running, adding time then removing time. The unit is possessed. I have to keep it unplugged or it will start beeping at me. I can plug it in, open and close the door. It will then re-set so I can warm something up. I called customer service for a repair and haven't had a call from the local representative. I can't return it because it's still under warranty. I just need to get it repaired or replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave replaced a GE that I have had for appx 18 years. GE tends to make a very reliable product. So far - so good on the new one.

The microwave is somewhat intuitive, but you need to read the users manual to understand all the features. Unfortunately, the oven doesn't come with one. You only get a Quick Start Guide. I had to download the User Manual (pdf format) and print it out so that I had a copy handy in order to understand how to use all the features. So far, it is working very well.
