Replacement for 17 year old microwave

We purchased this unit as a replacement for a GE Monogram microwave that was installed we we built our house 17 years ago. GE recommended the JES2051SN4SS as a replacement for our old unit as far as specs & features. So far so good. Unit looks good, works well. The inside of the unit is rounded at the rear and there doesn't seem to be as many 90 degree corners making it easier to clean.
The only negative I have so far is that GE doesn't make a trim kit for this model. With some custom engineering I cot the old trim kit to work & it looks fine.

We searched for a quality microwave that would fit our 'built-in opening.' We found a GE model with all the features we wanted that would fit perfectly. It looks great and performs better than the Frigidaire model it was replacing.

I purchased this same microwave @ a year and a half before this one. It's a great microwave, it's just not as durable or long lasting as other microwaves we've owned. I'm use to microwaves lasting 5-10 years.
