This microwave is larger than most others we considered. It has most features needed. Operates quieter than others we’ve had.

We like the ease of time selection, also the ease to add some time if we need to while in operation. The size for us makes it not only easy to use but also easy to clean. We have enjoyed this unit since we got it.

I have used this microwave for a short time. It is able to hold my larger microwave dishes when I need to use them. I have found it easy to use and set what I want. I did take me a little while to figure out how to decrease the power to lower settings. I made baked potatoes with the potato setting and they were perfect. It didn't seem to want to let me set my own time but that may just be something I have to figure out. I would like to see a more detailed instruction book with it as what comes with it is very limited.

the one it replaced was no where as good as this with the evenness of the heating. there doesn't seem to be any hot spots and the rounded rear corners make it much easier to use oversized containers that would always catch on our old one

MY FAVORITE MICROWAVE OVEN!

This oven has worked better than any I have owned in the past. The cooking sensors are all very accurate, the oven is easy to use and is large enough to hold my big lasagna dish. It was trouble free, quiet and worked perfectly until it was 3 years and 5 days old exactly. The diagnosis is the main power circuit board and relay, unfortunately the part is not available to repair it and the cost prohibitive. I liked it so well that even with the short lifespan I have ordered another exactly like it hoping that it may last longer. If it were not for the value, good operation and inexpensive replacement cost I would not buy another GE product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Feature mute button

Pro: One of the best features on this microwave is the mute button. If you have kids or grandkids the mute button comes in handy. Con: The only con I have is the open button is noisy. It creeks when you open it or when you push it to close it quieter.
