We looked all over for a large microwave. This one fit the bill. We can make delicious home-cooked meals for a family of five using this microwave.

Bad out of the box

1st day right out of the box it has a loud humming sound which isn't right. Case vibrates and it feel like it's going to explode. Will try to use warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There are some features that really impressed me. One the keypad has a quick start feature and a 30 second add on time button. It makes it easy to set a 1 minute plus 30 second cook time or any minute you wish plus the 30 second time. I also like the oven light is lit when cooking so that I can watch the cooking progress.

We bought this exact Mandela in 2009 and it has been well used with three boys. I hope this one performs as well.

Good Microwave

It’s a good microwave. It just doesn’t have the one step features my other microwave had there’s a couple extra steps like power level and setting time Cook. It’s good though.
