Easy to Use

After 2 weeks of use we are satisfied with the microwave. The keypad is easy to use. The latch allows me to easily open the the door with one hand. The rounded inside design allows for easy cleaning. Only complaint is that the temporary protective plastic coverings are a bit difficult to remove from the edges where various sections meet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK but noisy

Looks good, works fine and I like the large size. It's noisier than I expected. I returned one that was horribly noisy (probably something wrong with it) and this one is at an acceptable noise level. Maybe that's just how they are now (for this size), not sure. The plastic that covers everything that you have to peel off was tucked so deep into some edges that I couldn't get it completely off. The part that I couldn't get off isn't visible so I can live with it.

Keypad Buttons Hard to Push!

I got the new, same model GE Microwave because it works great, turntable and options. The reason I got rid of the old one is because several buttons on the “touch” pad were inoperative or hard to press. It was about 8 years old, so expected the problem. The new one still is hard to press, even worse than the original when new, so I’m very disappointed that the problem still exists. If anybody actually reads this, which I doubt, you need to rethink the “touch” pad. It’s more like a “push hard” pad that then leads to future problems due to over-pressing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design flaw with push latch which opens door. Right away when you pushed to open microwave it wouldn’t open unless you pulled on top or bottom of door to help it open

Bought this after the one we had died. It only lasted 3 or 4 years. Only reason I bought it again was because it's installed in the wall and I needed it to fit the space and use the same trim kit

Disappointed with control panel

We’ve only had this microwave for less than 2 months but the plastic covering over the control panel is already buckling and beginning to peel off. Our old microwave lasted for 10 years Very disappointed
