Simply died, about a year old no longer heats

Working one day, not working the next. The function pad seems to work normally, it even has that microwave sound and light. However there is no heat. You can put something in for 5 minutes and it’ll be just as cold as it went in. It’s basically a microwave shaped paper weight with functionality consistent of a child’s play thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT MICROWAVE, 2ND ONE

I LOVE THAT I WAS ABLE TO FIND THE EXACT SIZE AND ALMOST EXACT GE MICROWAVE. MY OTHER ONE WAS 8 YEARS OLD AND WE HAD TO REPLACE. IT MOUNTS IN THE CABINET SO THIS WAS AN ALMOST EXACT REPLACEMENT. GREAT MICROWAVE.

WOW!!! What a fantastic microwave! My older GE Microwave, JES1656SJ 1150 watt, decided to leave us after 14 long years! This was my favorite microwave of all time. I shopped around to see what other microwaves were comparable, in-store and online. After weeks of searching, I just HAD to go with this GE....and it was the best decision I made. It's nice looking (I chose the black one this time), it's large, it's light, it has all the features I was looking for and it cooks my meals and beverages with just the right temp. It really is a brand I can trust! You won't be disappointed!! :)

Inexpensive so hope it will last. Large turntable and curved inside the oven makes it nice for larger dishes. Good wattage, size and easy to use. No handle which I miss. And the cook time does not clear itself without cancelling but otherwise seems to be working well. Stronger wattage than my old microwave so heats and cooks faster.

We love this GE microwave because it’s easy to use it has express cook and sensor cooking and our first one lasted for years and we just replaced it with the same version because we like this microwave so much and it’s affordable.
