Hopefully will last longer than the last two

This is our third unit of this exact same model in 6 years. First one came with the house and was replaced within 2 years. Replaced with same unit so we didn't have to buy new trim package. That one failed after 4 years. New one installed today. Fingers crossed this one lasts more than 4 years.
First one rusted on the inside and seemed unsafe. Magnetron went out on the second one so it would run but not heat anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Qualities

We are thoroughly enjoying our new General Electric microwave oven. We have entered a new era in preparing quick, easy, and nutritious foods/ meals. Our former appliance was so old and out dated, we feel we have stepped into a new era of food safety and easy preparation. I am so enjoying the automatic turntable - that’s how old our former microwave was- there was no turntable. Your appliance is fantastic and all GE products are at the top of our list for future purchases.

We had to replace our profile microwave and couldn’t find that brand. The door on the new model is plastic not glass. It’s a lower brand. Poor quality

Great microwave

Great microwave for the money. Only had it a week, but it seems to be very well built and works great. When I shut the door, it seems very solid. Not cheap made like some other brands.

Good size microwave

We purchased the same microwave 19 years ago. Good microwave, love the size and the fact that it lasted that long. New one is definitely not of the same sturdy quality and I doubt it will last as long … especially the button for opening the door. I expect that to last 2 years… maybe.
