Replacement with newer version

This replaced our 12 year old microwave as our original died a happy death.. Replacement model, 12 years newer. We've been very happy as we never had an issue which is why we purchased the newer version.

After reading reviews to find a replacement to fit with the profile kit from our last GE microwave, we purchased this and crossed our fingers. It's not an exact fit, but close enough. For some reason it doesn't like the popcorn setting (gives ERR message so we stopped using that and set the timer directly). Other than that it's been working well.
Hopefully it will be reliable. Our last one made it 5 years. Tried a Samsung to replace it, and it only lasted 18 months. Really wish repairs were more reasonable as these appliances should not be disposable items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Microwave is easy to use and is reliable. The door opening mechanism doesn't work smoothly and feels cheap but is functional. This Microwave has a very large turntable which is very useful.

Absolutely LOVE this microwave. Had his model for many years. When it stopped working, I jumped on my laptop and searched for another just like it. Found the exact same model and had it up and running before nightfall. Hope this one lasts just as long as the last one!

We bought one for our house 8 years ago and never had any issues. It works really well, and it easy to use. We just replaced it with the same model because we like it so much!

Overall, the unit seems to operate well. However, the quality of materials and workmanship may not be as robust as products in the past in terms of longevity.
