No lighting on descriptive controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the cleaning capabilities of this dishwasher, I have to withhold a recommendation because of the top side controls. The controls have nothing more than an LED box around them. The actual descriptive word is NOT highlighted. In low light or at night, you probably will have trouble picking out the button to push. I called a repair man in, thinking the lights maybe weren't installed correctly. Very disappointed in LG, considering the money spent on this dishwasher.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] dishwasher washes well, but it is hard to fit the dishes into the shelves. lower rungs are too short and the plates roll back and forth as you open/close the door

Quiet, but does not clean well.

We bought this dishwasher because we were looking for one that was very quiet. I'm not sure the trade off is worth it because my dishes are not coming clean unless I rinse them completely. I have tried all kinds of detergent to see if that helped, but nothing changes. The adjustable racks are very delicate and do not stay in place. Very disappointed. Should have stuck with my 10 year old loud dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
