A Real Housewife of Orange Co is less maintenance

Had this Junk for little more than a year. I have to clean the filter repeatedly, clean the spray arms more than a dozen times and today it got an "OE" error, indicating yet another problem. We replaced our old, but perfectly working dishwasher with this stainless steel tome waster. I hate it. Hate it. Hate it. In addition to all the maintenance, you have to use liquid soap, the pods won't dissolve. And this thing won't clean unless the dish unless it is spotless going in and the interior of the machine is in pristine working condition. Like high rolling gold digger this things is more trouble than it's worth. Don't bother!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy

This dishwasher has been difficult from the start. The tines for the plates do not stay in place. The dishes MUST be rinsed well prior to washing or they will not be clean. After a year a high pitched squeal started while running that comes and goes in volume and duration but is always present. Now, after two years a leak has started from the pump. At the price paid there should not be this many issues. The direct drive motor has a 10 year warranty...who cares... the rest of the product is substandard material or design. Do not buy. This is the poorest performing dishwasher I have owned at any price point and should be much better at this price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this dishwasher 8 times and i have to inspect every dish and the silverware when I unload it for cleanliness. I always find soiled dishes and silverware when I unload it.

Love the black stainless finish on the outside. Love the bottom freezer and the water and ice dispensers. So much better than a side by side.
