Very quiet

Have had this dishwasher for five years and it does a great job very quiet and great looks. Would have been a five star but the black stainless version tends to peel which really because an eye sore. Have call and both refrigerator and dishwasher fronts have been replaced but still have issues understanding the age I do expect Norm wear but it peels in areas where no wear should appear repair man said it's common since it's a cheap coating but cost so much extra to get. I feel there should be a better way to have the beauty of black stainless without the worry of it peeling

But those baskets...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the dishwasher itself, but had to replace all three baskets after only two years (upper, lower, and top tray) because of rusting through the vinyl. Fortunately, they were covered under warranty and were replaced by the company.

My other two racks that are rusting out still have not shown up and the people keep telling me 10 days and that was months ago

Dishwasher failed within 3 year warranty

Coating on racks had imperfections and racks rusted through in two years. New racks were sent by by LG under warranty. About a 6 week wait to get them after notification of LG.
Dishwasher did not like powdered dishwasher detergent, nor the pods that were sent with it. Dispenser door quit routinely opening during cycle, precipitating service call. After paid service call that sucessfully degunked the dispenser, proper operation resumed and we switched to liquid dishwasher detergent only.
At roughly 2 1/2 years , the dishwasher failed with a HE (heating element) code. LG service tech ( another paid service call) said this was a "motherboard" failure and recommended a "defective unit" return under warranty. The motherboard part was not available for 6 + weeks, due to Covid/supply issues. About 15 weeks later after hours on hold, numerous emails, etc. and attempt to get LG customer service - we finally got a refund of $401.94 - which we promptly put toward purchase of a dishwasher of another manufacturer. This LG dishwasher was the first LG dishwasher we have purchased and it will be our last.
In fairness to LG - they finally made good on the refund, but the fifteen+ week process of trying to get to that point was nothing I ever want to repeat.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans ok but racks are rusting within 3 years

Cleans ok. We chose the unit for its lower height and due to trying to match our LG refrigerator (which we have since returned due to an irreparable compressor problem). The racks have been rusting at the joints and the replacement racks seem to slide off of the track too easily. Wished we got a different brand washer now
