DO NOT GET A PINK SLIP

This is a very durable and slender case. However, many people I know, including myself, have had problems with the pink slip; often times it gets disgustingly dirty and is does not clean well. The colour difference between my original case is very gross. Overall I love the case and would purchase again as long the slip was not pink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Looking Case

Love the look of the case. Not to bulky. Only problem I have with this case is it is a little slippery (needs better grip to it). But other than that I can find no other problems at this time. Otter is the way to go.

this otter is a monster the best ever had had many other brands do not conpare best on the market and the they cover your phone it it breaks within a yr time

Dropped from 6 stories high and no damage!!

Dropped my phone from 6 stories high while at the City Museum in St Louis while it was in the commuter case and no cracks!! There is a slight gap between the phone and the silicone part of the case now, but no damage to the phone. Amazing! I was sure that I was going to get to it on the ground and it be shattered. Thank you Otterbox!

Sort of bulky

This case does protect my phone really well, but in my opinion it is too thick. The Galaxy S5 is super thin, and light, but when you add this case it doubles in size, and gets heavier. If they would have made this case to keep the design (like they did with the commuter case for the iPhone 6/6s) I would have loved it even more.

Good protection but...

Good protection, nothing to say about it but DO NOT buy the pink cover as it gets dirty. Mine is pink and white and I love the matching. However, the pink color turns to a dirty look with time. Moreover, I do not store my phone in my jeans (only in my bag). Imagine the color if I was keeping it in my jeans. All bluewish!!! Hence, my recommendation is AVOID BUYING THE PINK ONE! I don't intend to buy another new case soon as it's not that cheap. So need to stick to the dirty pink for quite a while...

Good Case, Bad Screen Protector

I like this case. It adds protection without having too much weight. I don't have a problem with the case.
However, I dislike the screen protector. It was difficult to put on and I still have air pockets because I couldn't push them out with the card that came with the case. It also doesn't fit correctly. If I align it with the home button, It's too tall. If I align it with the top of the phone, it covers the home button slightly, making it difficult to use the fingerprint scanner.
I recommend investing in a different screen protector, but the case itself is pretty good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
