Printer Stopped Working From Error 97x

We selected this printer because of the 13' X 19' printing, We like using it for craft making. This printer work great for the first year would of purchased it again but not now we got Error 97x and printer will not work it comes on but only prints or copy's and then stops before finished with this Error 97x and will tell you to turn off then back on but does the same thing. I have had several Epson printers and always upgrade to a better one due to the innovation they come out with. How ever this may change due to the the quality going down and no support for an Error that is not only just my printer but several other after a internet search.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE MOST HORRIBLE PRINTER I'VE EVER USED

I really wanted to give this a 0 star rating. I've never written a review of a product before, but I have been so upset and angry about this product. I have been unable to get one single decent print from this machine since i bought it and i've hit my breaking point. I have had it just sitting on my desk taking up space for 2 years since it is unable to be used. At the beginning i thought it was just me not configuring it correctly and over a little time, i would figure it out and get it to work so i didn't return it. That never happened and i've thrown my money out the window and have wasted countless hours trying to print projects that i was never able to print. Either i'm doing EVERYTHING wrong, or this printer is a big oversized piece of junk. I am not tech-unsavvy. I've owned color printers my whole life - never an Epson before this - and certainly never will buy another Epson product again. I've NEVER had any problems printing simple color photos on any other printer. Let me address all of your marketing attributes: VERSATILE PAPER HANDLING: Printer jams paper coming from any source other than the tray. Biggest issue is that this printer cannot print anything but plain white paper. It jams anything thicker (or more often just makes a ton of noise and won't take it at all), so no presentation papers, cardstocks, brochure paper or photo paper can be used. Defeats the whole purpose of purchasing this printer. SAVE ON INK: It runs through ink like the cartridge has a hole in it and as soon as you print something, all the ink drains right out of the cartridge. I print 1 sheet (LITERALLY) of color paper, and automatically i need a new cartridge in one color or another. I have gone through more ink in 2 months than i have in 6+ years with another branded printer. I don't know where the ink is going, because it certainly isn't on the paper! LASER-SHARP BLACK AND COLOR TEXT, DURABLE PRINTS: the quality of that 1 print is HORRIBLE. I've never printed anything like this - it has lines and streaks all over it, completely wrong colors print out and are all faded- that's what i get with a whole ink cartridge. I could never print a photo on this printer. Plus, if you have any one of the ink cartridges out of ink, you cannot print in black & white. It will stop and jam the project MID-PRINT until you replace the empty color cartridge. FAST PRINTING: It takes about 4+ minutes to print 1 full sheet of paper (if you can get it to print anything in the first place). WIRELESS AND WIFI DIRECT: The wifi features do not work - I was able to use wifi for about a month and then for some reason it just stopped working (nothing was changed-no settings or equipment was changed) so now I have to use the usb cable for every single thing i print - which defeats the entire purpose for me getting a wireless printer so my whole family can print from their laptops. INTUITIVE 4.3" COLOR TOUCHSCREEN for EASY NAVIGATION AND CONTROL: I can't figure out from your "User Friendly Interface" how to get it to work - the interface is perhaps the most UN-user friendly as well. I could go on and on about this horrible printer. I think the ONLY feature that actually works on this printer is the Scanner - that's pretty much the only thing i use this machine for now since i can't use it for it's intended purpose. I just want a refund.

This is a great printer and the colors are beyond my initial expectations
Speed in fast for black and white and color printing is very good.

Very happy with my Epson Workforce after years of using the other printers I find this one much better to use and setup. And it actually works after sitting for a couple days or weeks unlike the others. Not great for photos but that is not what I bought it for.

ease to set up everything works no problems printing e mail, pages from internet low noise printing , ease to change printing from lighter to darker the printer just works as it should. most people would be happy with this printer and I like the 4 inks u just have to buy the colors u need
