Overall this is a good printer. It is a bit large and takes up considerable space. The issues I have noticed in the few weeks of use are: I am constantly changing paper size from letter to legal. To do this, you have to close the paper catcher, remove the clear paper holder, pull out the carriage, remove the old paper, push in or out the carriage to size, adjust the guide, put in the new paper, install the clear paper holder, close the carriage, and open the paper catcher. Then when you print something, there is an error message saying the paper is the wrong size. You have to click that that is okay and press START. It would be nice if it held letter and legal sized paper at the same time. The same procedure is used when printing an envelope. This printer could be sleeker and more user friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not buy again

Printer does a good job of printing and copying; however, the wi-fi and software are sub par to other brands out there. If this printer has any type of notifications such as cyan low, it brings everything to a halt until you walk to the printer and acknowledge it. I have always been able to hit ok or whatever on my laptop/smart device and move on when using other brands. I spend more time trying to figure out why something is not printing due to poor software design by Epson. My older HP was much more user friendly. Hire a new software team Epson and make your products shine.

Good printer with some stupid functions

The print quality is fine. I bought it because it was an all-in-one wide format printer. That part is good. I print greeting cards frequently and in quantity. You have to trick this printer to even print on card stock. It does not have that option. Thus the stupid part. Every time you change the type of paper in the paper cassette, you must not only change it on the print menu (fine) but you must change the default setting for the paper cassette (idiotic). It has a rear paper tray and some papers you cannot even feed through the rear paper tray which makes no sense whatsoever. If you are allowed to print the paper from the rear tray, you can only print 1 page - what???? I almost returned it because of the awkwardness of use. I am still thinking of doing so. It seems that these days any time a product takes one step forward, it takes 3 steps back. Why is that? Are they really incapable of seeing when a feature is time consuming or unwieldy for the user? It is too bad because these negative features far outweigh the good ones. A printer should be a joy to use not a frustration.

Less than one star

Worthless piece of junk. I bought it because of the wide format feature and have owned Epsons before. In addition to plans on the wide format, I also need to print sharp detailed photos. I was immediately disappointed in the blurry quality of the photos, unless it was set to the highest quality - which took 3 - 5 minutes per photo. Soon after I figured out the high quality feature the normal quality started to look fuzzy and out of alignment. Many alignment tests and corrections later - and many head cleaning routines later, it is still not able to print a readable sheet. I need this printer for work and do not have the time to be trying to figure out its defects. I wish I could return it and start over.

Color Discrepancy

Because I liked the wide format capability & other features of the WF 7610, & had a good experience with Epson support, I gave it three stars. I took away two stars because of the work required to adjust the color so it prints out accurately.
When I did a test scan of an original drawing, the color looked accurate on my computer screen but was considerably different when printed. With plain paper, it printed bluer than both the original art & screen image which was predominantly teal green. Photo paper printed even bluer! After much testing, I successfully manually adjusted the color both in the print settings & in Photoshop. Although developing a system, this process would still take some time with each image. As an alternative solution, I tested about 2 dozen Epson color option settings with no success.

The ink cartriges with the printer were not working so I replaced them with 70.00 worth of new ones. After making sure that I had them installed properly - I have now had to clean the printer heads 5 times to finally see any print.
if this does not get better soon - back to the store for a different brand.

so far I've attempted to install this printer, not getting confirmation of install , come to find out printer was installed 4 times. once installed printed test page- very shady and missing lines printing. i tried cleaning print heads 3 times still not getting much better. seems i will have to call epson or return printer to staples. Giving the size of this printer - i am not happy right now. i expected much better.
