Would be perfect except drivers and wireless

The printer directly attached is perfect. It is a bit difficult to keep it on the wireless network. It disappears every once in a while and I had to update firmware and drivers. That is a pain for the non-technical folks.
Not as plug and play as needs to be for the every day person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has problem with printing bar-codes (blurry) printing a color spectrum is rough at best.
The scanner does a fine job, the Scanned ID.s creates extra steps removed file ID.s
Overall a good printer, couse use a better prinhead

Received printer 2 days after I ordered it. Very good packing. Setting up took a little longer than I thought it would. Tip: when you put in the disc, click on setup icon & click on open. Follow directions that will take at least an hour but time well spent. I just printed out their samples but the color looks very good.

PRINTING AND COLOR IS GOOD. THE PROBLEMS I HAVE IS THE PAPER JAMMING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO PRINT ON LARGER PAPER THAN 8.5X11. I HAVE OWNED OTHER EPSON PRINTERS WITHOUT PROBLEMS WHICH IS WHY I PURCHASED THIS ITEM.

This is probably the worst printer/scanner set up I have ever had. I have been trying to set this up all day and still is not fully set up yet. Never have I had to deal with this with any other brands. I will not recommend this product to anyone else. Scanning is extremely slow and for the most part, I hate I made this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A real champ

I purchased this machine specifically for its capability for large format printing and its low cost. I have not been disappointed. It is a bit bulky and large, but it performs wonderfully. Wireless set up was fast and easy; I was printing shortly after removing the printer from the box. The interface (via the computer and on the machine) is very user friendly. I have not used the fax function; therefore, cannot comment on ease of use for that. I have printed using regular and cardstock paper. It does not produce "picture" quality prints, but they are very clear when printing photograph-like graphics. Overall, a great product. I highly recommend.
