EPSON WF-7610

I've had the WF-7610 for six days and have printed color photos and scanned many, many legal sized copies.
I had used the WF-7520 previously and found that to be reliable but slow. This smaller, newer, version is suitable for my needs. It is much quicker than the WF-7520 and the touch pad arrangement is much easier to use than the more elaborate button setup on the WF-7520.
I'm very pleased a week into my purchase.

I liked the price of this printer and it's sharpness when printing pictures.
I find it is hard to use photo paper when printing pictures. The machine jams if more than 1 sheet of photo paper is in paper tray. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Fantastic printer. Does a very good job, is reliable and great value for the money. This is for a home office where I work most of the time. We produce quite a bit of graphical output and the WF-7610 is up to the task. It is not a production printer as it is a little slow, but for draft color graphics it is great. What I see from the WF-7610 is nearly as good as our production printers. I have tried competitive brands for this draft/home office use and they are not nearly as good as the WF-7610. This is the one you want. Get the WF-7620 if you switch back and forth between letter and 11x17 frequently and want dual paper trays.

Great All-In-One

The best thing about this all-in-one is the 11x17 scanning feature. We use it constantly. But, as with most Epson Printer, everything is good with this machine. We have found it invaluable to our mobile office. Get One!

Not overly impressed with this machine but I am stuck with it. Black ink sometimes smear on the paper compromising a professional presentation.

While this printer is over twice the size I expected it would be--I expected it to be about the size of the CX5000 it replaced--it's great because of the waterproof ink (the reason I chose an Epson replacement), the fact it takes 11x17 paper so that with a Long Reach Stapler I can print my own catalogs! It does automatic double-sided printing using 24# paper or heavier (20# you can see some of the back on the front). The photos I printed on the Epson Photo Paper came out awesome! Same for the business cards! Keep regular paper in the main tray, and use the rear feeder for special sizes or papers (photo, biz-card, envelopes) and not remove regular paper. Auto-feed scanning means you don't need to position the paper unless you need (as in a book) or want to. The WiFi hookup is awesome! Cable-free anywhere in range! This was designed for businesses. I haven't tried the Optical Character Recognition. I never had any success with ANY OCR program and am reluctant to try it, so yes, if I need OCR, I end up typing it longhand. Someone tell me this works. In my mind, OCR is like the dream of the flying car.
