Overall has been pretty good. Dissipointed with its handling of to thick of photographic paper.

Scanner Error

Truthfully, I've not had a problem with the printer until I had the occasion to change ink for the second time. Now, the scanner top cannot be closed. This seems to be a common error plaguing Epson printers for years. Seems the problem could have been fixed by now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A lot of printer for the money!

I profiled this printer using a Colormunki Photo to create a custom profile for PPM paper and use it to reproduce my watercolor paintings on Epson 13" x 19" Premium Presentation Matte. The standard printer settings did not accurately reproduce my paintings but my custom profile worked great. For general use the included profiles are OK. In the provided photo - Original 20 x 30 watercolor, 13 x 19 using included Epson profile, 8 x 10 using custom Colormunki profile. Which looks closest to the original?

Bought this unit 3 days ago fresh out the box and it was the easiest printer to set up then I have evere had before

The printing is all smudged a nd skip spots. There are no instructions on how to fix this.Do not waste your money on this printer.
