My wife bought this printer for quilting, but I'm going to use it, particularly the scanner, for my profession.

Using the packet to add my printer onto a new computer made the process so easy to follow. Setting up my fax and printer will make things so much easier for my personal use. Thank you for your help you provide to make this process easier and successful. Sincerely

I like the printer because I get more copies than I do with my inkjet. However, I do have trouble with the scanner often and don't get the best quality of color when making copies. I have had better experience with other Epson printers

Everything I needed and more!

It prints quickly, precisely and quietly. The wide print format is wonderful as is the backload feature. I have printed on lots of different formats, including ordinary whi5e fabric I simply taped it to a heavy duty piece of card stock. This printer may have been designed for office work. But it's also this artist's dream. The only issue I have is that I have trouble getting it to print sometimes. It's like it is ignoring the print job. It will sit there doing nothing while the printer menu on the computer shows that it's printing.

Epson WF-7610 Pros and Cons

The SOHO networking for this printer is very good. The UI is straight forward and well thought out. As a networked printer I would recommend it for sure. The Print quality leaves a bit to be desired. I have had to run every diagnostic, alignment and cleaning that this printer offers. The printing is just not that clean and crisp. You get the occasional unaligned line especially on color prints. If you do a lot of color printing or photos this unit leaves a bit to be desired. My printing needs are basic. If you are into photo printing or more precise color printing look elsewhere. Otherwise it is a sturdy well built machine and does basic printing to suite my overall needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Great

For several months, this printer has not worked up to a high enough standard for my professional use (I'm an illustrator working in print media). One thing it does, is that it will pull several pieces of paper at a time and print one image across those several pages, breaking it up into pieces. Another thing is the unreliable connectivity I've been experiencing. Though I ensure the wifi connection is correct and working, the printer seems to have a difficult time communicating with my computer when it's time to print or scan. Another issue is that when I attempt to print using slightly thicker paper, such as card stock or watercolor paper, it struggles to pull the paper through, sometimes pulling it through without printing on it at all, making me have to hand feed the paper through several times until it "catches" and prints. I have wasted so much time using this printer, and the whole point of it was to make my workflow more efficient. I'm beyond frustrated. I used to be a special education teacher, and I feel I've been having to use the same kind of patience I used to use with my students on this dagnabbit contraption.

Only worked for a year

I bought this printer only a year ago and now it only prints half the page, then an error message pops up. The cartridges don't last very long either. I haven't even used it that much. Don't waste your money.
