Easy Wi-Fi set-up

I have not had a chance to use the printer much. The set-up was easy step by step once the network information was provided to the printer.
The test page printed out was of excellent quality.

I just love my new printer the Epson WF 7610. It works and prints great. Pictures come out with excellent colors and another feature I really like is the double sided printing, I don't have to manually remove the paper and turn it over anymore.
I was lucky enough to get a great price too.

Some wifi Problems

I went to wide format after my wf 3640 died. Loved the 3640. The 7610 prints pretty well although I have not done enough printing so far to really judge the color.
But when scanning I continually have to reboot it. It loses contact often. Or takes a long time to warm up if not busy for a period of time. Very time consuming. This is its major weak link and needs to be addressed.
What saves it is the large format scanning and printing capabilities. I will put up with the problems ONLY because of format, otherwise I would take it back
When working I like it a lot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought WF 7610 as replacement for Epson Artisan 835 (an excellent printer) but so far this one is frustrating! Prints and scans documents beautifully, but photos are maybe yes, maybe not - mostly not. The paper cassette is next to impossible to adjust for photos. "Correct the cassette settings" - again and again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Disappointing

This is my 4th Epson in 12 yrs., but the 1st one to disappoint! I've had 2 at a time and this is the ONLY one that is very noisy and cannot be compared with the photos I've printed w/the other Epsons.

Smudgy Printing resolved

My WF-7610 started printing very poorly and I cleaned the heads but to no resolve. I called Epson and they tried to walk me through the cleaning of the heads again but to no avail. The next day, after turning off the machine for the night it would not resolve the smudgy printing so they sent me a new printer. I installed it and with the tech support was able to hook it up to the wifi here in the office. We had another problem with compatibility with a label printer but they resolved that too. Good product and tech support....just what I was promised when I bought the printer. Thanks Epson.
