Good and bad. Love the printer. Easy to connect. Fairly quiet compared to the printers I've had. But it did break down after only 4 months of use. But when I called about it, the person I worked with was great. Had me do some testing on the printer over the phone and then declared it a mechanical problem and said it would be replaced. After 6 days, I have a replacement printer. It was a very pleasant surprise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Issues with New Printer

Printer purchase and installation was good...however, the ink cartridges have an extremely small plastic cover that has to be removed for the ink to flow. This cover is impossible to remove. I finally had to use a knife to cut a hole in them. They used to have a small pull-tab that made it easy...obviously a change in the wrong direction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this to upgrade from a Epson workforce 600 for my mac. The instructions looked straight forward but it took 24 hours to figure out what I needed to do to get it to hook up wirelessly.
It was so simple. I just needed to press harder on the display screen to select English and this put it into processing mode.
Please EPSON. A few more steps to set this up would have been so simple to have printed in the paperwork. We are not all tech savvy.

Great Printer!

I bought this printer because my old printer's printhead wore out and they don't make that printer anymore. This printer was very easy to set up although I've never had trouble setting up any printer. I like the quality of the print with this printer. There are so many settings with this printer with some I've never heard of and I've had plenty of printers. This printer is also a lot less noisy when I print with the draft setting. My old printer not only made a lot of noise printing with the draft setting it shook my whole desk so much I thought it was going to fall apart! Not this one. My old printer was not an Epson and neither was any of the printers I've owned. This is my first Epson and I am very pleased with this printer. The ink is a little less explensive too. It uses less ink too compared to my old printer using the draft settings. I have no complaints about this printer whatsoever and the price was a lot lower I would expect with a printer like this.

Huge improvement on Ink use

Very happy with this modestly priced printer. Replaced an older Epson that was a heavy ink user and when it started having problems I was going to switch to a color laser printer until I found out about the newer printers like this one having ink management that made costs better than laser and thought I would try. I have to say it's been 3 months and I am very happy with the reduced ink usage. Awesome!

Good product but...

I have used Epson printers for many years and I have never been disappointed. I like the individual ink cartridge feature, which is more cost effective. In the past my computer was a PC with Microsoft Windows XP. I recently obtained a MAC with OS 10. I love my MAC and was excited to get a new, wireless printer to use with it. The installation of the WF-3620 was not difficult. However, setting up wireless printing was a royal pain. I worked for days trying to get my MAC to recognize my printer. I uninstalled and re-installed the printer several times. I did trouble-shooting through Epson and Apple. Had I read reviews prior to my printer purchase, I wouldn't have gone through so much trouble trying to set up the wireless printing feature, since most reviews claimed difficulties with MAC computers. I finally gave up trying to connect wirelessly with my printer and use my Epson printer wired to my computer (which is okay, I guess) and can wirelessly print from my I-Phone, which is nice. I would still buy Epson printers, because they do a great job of printing on regular and photo paper.

Easy Set Up

I had no trouble following along the directions to set this printer up right from the box. I even went wireless this time! (I didn't do anything but click on the screen a few times. Everything else was automatic, and within 10- 15 minutes I was sitting here printing! I tested a 2 sided print. No jamming. So far I am one very happy customer.

Poor software and color reproduction

I find the printer impossible to manage from a software perspective. all functions need to be performed on the printer itself in a ridiculously small window. why can't the software be computer based and managed?
The color reproduction falls way short of the initial marketing promises. I have tried every possible solution i could find online and in the product manuals including buying new ink cartridges to no avail.
Being a fairly high volume personal user, I would be hard pressed to recommend this printer to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
