Great printer

This printer was easy to install. The on screen guide made it fool proof when I was setting up the wifi. It also made it easy to set up the fax machine. The quality of the printing is great, the pages don't come out saturated with ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wired it works great

We set this printer up wirelessly and it is shared between 3 windows desktops, a Mac laptop, windows laptop and a windows Surface. Lots of problems staying connected and the printer is only 4 feet away from the wireless router. When it did print it took forever for the printing to start. Finally ran a connection to the router, now it prints much more quickly and jobs no longer fail with a print error.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is efficient, fast and very economica

I really love this printer. I had a HP 7590 for 6 or 8 years and then I replaced it with an 8600. Although I liked the 8600, I wanted a little more for "my" business printer. I print out a lot of schedules for volunteer drivers and this printer is quick and accurate. The ink delivery system seems more economical than most and I like that I can scan something and convert it to "word" or RTF or a PDF. That was a feature I
liked about my 7590, which is still running strong. I do hope you

Upgrade from HP8600A

I purchased this an an upgrade for additional features to be able to print from my phone or table. The plus benefit was being able to have an additional paper tray. The down fall is that I am not able to assign these trays as to how I want them. I would love to put either color paper or checks in the top tray and have the bottom as everyday printing. Also, this printer disconnects from my computer on the wireless side. Overall, great printer.

Great Printer for Home Use

I have had a number of HP Printers in the past, but this one was so easy to set up. Was printing within 15 minutes. Software set up everything perfectly. Features are great. Scanning seems to be fairly fast and fax works great. Print quality very good. So far, satisfied with this printer.

Couldn't be Better

To start with the 8630 didn't cost very much! It works as advertised and has features that such a low cost machine are missing on much higher priced printers. It is easy to set up and even when there appears to be a glitch either the printer itself or a few keystrokes at the computer resolve the problem. It is intuitive in setup. Ink seems to go along way. Over 500 pages and I haven't been asked to change cartridges. The InstaInk program will even take care of that issue when it arises. I don't know what more many money would provide that this printer doesn't already have.
