I am the clumsiest person in the world. No seriously. I started my day by falling into a mud puddle on my way into work. That being said, my Galaxy S5 flew out my hand and onto the concrete. My Galaxy was fallen from a third floor balcony onto gravel. I have dropped, tossed, thrown, and smashed this phone. And it still looks brand new (outside of the case, that is). All because of my Defender case. I have had this phone and case for over a year. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I'm shopping for a Defender case for my new Galaxy S6 that's about to come in the mail. I have never had an OtterBox before this phone, but there is absolutely no way I will ever get another case. Not with my hand eye coordination and proprioception (or lack thereof).
Conclusion: If you are tough on your phone, purposely or not, get the Defender. It will save your life (i.e. your phone).

My favorite aspect of this amazing cover is the bright orange trim that lets me spot my phone easily whenever I search for it.

This Otter Case is indestructible. As one who is constantly on the move and sometimes quite the klutz, this cradles my Samsung with hardcore protection... and a little dazzle of pink as the backdrop of the great outdoors. The dual function of the clip/stand is very handy and I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Thank you for taking it from black and drab to pink and fab!

It is a very sleek look. Much thinner than my old defender case for droid bionic. The camouflage backing is nice but is slick when sitting on smooth surfaces. It does not have any grip. The clear screen protector gives your phone the oily water look when the screen is blacked out. For what you pay for these defender cases, Otterbox should have a much better design.
