My 13 year old GE dryer died so had to buy a new one. The quality is not what I expected a GE to be. Noisy when clothes are tumbling -

Drys clothes quickly!

I think this is the first dryer that has kept up head to head on timing with the washing machine. I'm normally waiting on clothes to dry before I can put in the next load. This one, I put on a low setting with 5 - 6 wool dryer balls and load of clothes is completely dry in about 30 minutes or by the time the washer is finished with the next load. Love it! Simple, easy to use. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but I wanted a basic dryer that didn't have a ton of electronics that could go out. It has every setting that anyone could really want. Who needs to steam dry their clothes? Seriously...it's a great dryer.

Wrinkle Free Operation

This unit replaced a 1 year old competitors 8.8 ft3 unit that did nothing but ball up our cottons into a roadmap of wrinkles! The sensor feature actually works as advertised, unlike the competitions, and the buzzer volume feature is a very nice add on. Thank you for retaining the dial controls as well. We felt like we were programming the space shuttle each time we used the previous dryer as we selected the multitude of sensed options...only to have it fail us every white load!

Love the GE dryer! It's simple to operate. I'm diverting away from the digital dryers. Seems like they don't last long. Had a whirlpool dryer b4 and the circuit board went out on it. Cost about as much to fix as to buy a new one.
