We have owned a lot of GE products. Starting with a GE electric skillet back in the 50's. We have several G E appliances. My purchase before this was the GE washer which has been great. I didn't have to think about it when I needed a Dryer, it would be a GE. .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm enjoying my new dryer. Just wish the inside light had a shut off switch for when the dryer is open if I don't want it on. We live in the pacific NW, and I like to keep my dryer open to make sure no moisture is trapped inside.

Great dryer but hard to close door

Dryer works great so far! The door on the other hand is quite difficult to shut. A grown man shouldn’t have to throw his hip against it in order to latch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer very efficient!

This dryer is energy efficient, has every drying feature I need and runs quietly. The end of buzzer cycle can be adjusted to be very loud or soft as well as turned off. The lint basket is easy to clean and is in the door. A great dryer and a great value.
