I really like this dryer except for the door.

I love how the dryer has many different functions for many type of clothing. The capacity is amazing ! I also love that you can put your clothes back in to get them unwrinkled love love love love that part because I don’t even on an iron.
My only gripe is that the door won’t stay open. It’s very aggravating when you have your arms full of laundry. You have to open it all the way open for it to stay and sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t want to complain to the people that I got it from just because of the door, however, I am in a Mobile Wheelchair, disabled senior citizen, and that door not opening staying ooen unless you open it alllll the way. it is a huge inconvenience. However, it does not outweigh the fact that this is a wonderful dryer if I were younger and not in the stupid wheelchair, and able to do a lot of normal things, the door would not bother me at all.
I do want to mention the convenience of the lint trap, where it’s located. Instead of on top of the dryer it’s inside the dryer and it’s so much more convenient to pull out the tray and clean it. I absolutely positively love this dryer and would highly recommend it.

I am very happy with the features and function of this machine. It has everything you need, extended tumble to reduce wrinkles, 4 temperature settings, time dry or sensor dry, casual, delicate and cotton settings. It also signals you when closes are dry. The signal is loud enough to hear from anywhere in your home. I like the sleek and attractive design, because it sits in my Laundry room and is very visible as soon as you want in my home from the garage. It has a very large capacity. All in all, 2 thumbs up.

does not dry.....literally

I have had the dryer for 3 months. Has never dried. No Heat. GE told me is was air duct clogged, when technician chose to blow off my service appointment after I waited all day to show up. Left me a VM. Air flow is fine as inspected by builder. Can't get anyone to help in a timely manner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sure you've checked the heat setting, but in case you may not have. Be sure to have it on a heat setting and not on Fluff/Cool down and also make sure your vent isn't blocked.
