Love the dryer but hate the large knob

I had a GE dryer with moisture sensor and absolutely loved it. It lasted for 22 years. All I wanted to do is get another just like it. This is as close as I could find. Due to covid I had to order from photos and descriptions. I am very pleased with everything on this new dryer, except the large knob. The knobs are designed differently than my old machine and not as easy to grip and turn. The small knobs are not bad, but that large one in the center is down right hard to turn. I have to use both hands to turn it. I actually dread having to turn it as it is painful to use. Otherwise, it is a fantastic dryer and gets everything dry to my specifications in short order.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Dryer

The dryer works well. As mentioned in previous reviews, the door is a bit hard to close. I use my knee to push it shut and that works much better. I do miss the digital counter on my older model GE dryer though.

So quiet and efficient

My 20 year old GE Profile dryer finally died and I had to get another one. Didn't want the digital controls and GE is known for long life quality products. Love this dryer but the lint pull is very small.

Simple Machine - easy to use, drys good

I am writing this review at the same time I am registering the dryer but so far so good. It is a simple machine and drys good. I like the dials and there is no digital controls.

There are lots of options to choose to dry various kinds of clothes. It allows different ways to dry gentle clothing and difficult to dry. The setting is user friendly.
