I absolutely love this dryer, it's by far the best clothes dryer I've ever had. It dries my clothes alot faster than any other dryer I've had. I got the set, and the washer is just amazing as well. Id most definitely recommend either of these products too anyone who's looking for a washer/dryer.

Could be a lot better

This dryer has been a big disappointment. I had a 10 year old dryer that was so noisy with all kinds of squeaking and vibrating. I was so thrilled when I got this GE dryer and it was quiet. With the laundry closet door closed, I couldn't even tell it was running. Fast forward to one month and it has begun to make an annoying squeaking/clicking sound, and the drum sounds like it just clunks over halfway through its spin. Also, the cycle completion signal does not work reliably, but that is nothing compared to the other problem. I had a GE repair guy look at it. He stopped the sound, but it came back 5 minutes after he left. Yes, it dries clothes but loudly. I can't recommend it unless you don't mind that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While it would not be unusual to hear the rotation of the drum as it turns, it does sound like an issue has developed that needs to be checked by service. Sorry, just had this dryer installed yesterday. Haven't had but (2) loads dried by necessity. Little different features from old dryer. Just getting used to new features

I can hear the buzzer

I bought this dryer as a complement to my existing GE washer. Very happy with its look and performance. The only concern is the plastic vent handle as I’m not sure how it will hold up in the long run. I am especially pleased with the end of cycle signal as I can really hear it throughout the house.
