I love this dryer. It's simple and gets the job done. The dryer basin is quite large and but still manages to get everything dry in one cycle. You can't ask for more.

Dry sensor doesn’t work

The dry sensor setting hasn’t worked since I got it. Tried to use it for the first time with a small load before I left the house. Came back 3 hours later and it was still running and my clothes were very hot. Definitely a poorly made appliance and GE won’t replace it. Now I have to stay by the dryer and keep checking my clothes to see when they’re done. I won’t be buying a GE appliance again and I would never recommend it to another person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For all intents and purposes this dryer works as advertised. Thus far it has only been connected for a few days, and it has been utilized only a handful of times. It was an upgrade from an older machine, so all things considered it will work better and be more efficient.

We've had this one month and it seems to work great. Dial is a bit harder to turn than previous dryers and the door is somewhat harder to shut, but no problems with either items.
