Wouldn’t buy again

We had this dryer for a year, it has broke twice. I am not please with it and it barely dries the clothes sometimes. First time it was the start button fuse, got that fixed. Now it just broke again, and I don’t know what it is after taking it apart and cleaning the filter and checking the wiring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Option For Heavy Laundry Users

I have had this dryer for 3 weeks now and it has done a great job keeping up with my busy laundry schedule, as I wash clothes twice a day 6 days a week. It is very old fashioned in the sense that it has buttons and a loud buzzer to alert you when drying is complete. The buzzer can be turned off, but with the buttons on the display this dryer is very much a flashback to the good old days over the past 3 decades when we all used knobs and not buttons or apps. Unlike my GE Profile 5.0 washer, this dryer is not Wi-Fi enabled to alert you on your phone of usage, but that's okay because I really don't need that anyhow. The sister dryer to my washer was on backorder for a month and I needed a dryer immediately, which is what made me choose this one initially. It does match and looks as if it goes with my washer thanks to the light grey backsplash where the control buttons are. My only complaint is that this product was made in Mexico. I would prefer to see GE produce all of its products here in the U.S. to help our economy and create more jobs. Noise levels are about the same with any other dryer I have ever owned. Oh, a digital timer that displayed how much time is left on a dry cycle might be the only other thing I would prefer in a dryer. All in all this has been a great dryer for my family.

The only way this dryer would be better for me is it folded and put away what’s inside it. Lol. It’s been running since I got it and I have absolutely no complaints

Overall a great dryer with a large drum and multiple modes and temperatures. The only drawback is the lint screen. At times it's hard to clean, almost like the lint doesn't want to leave.
