Very loud dryer

Dryer is very loud when drying clothes.
There is no sound barrier/ insulation to prevent noise. Would not recommend due to it being so noisey when in operation.

Side Vent sucks. Interior exhaust pipe not 4 inch

Just installed oct 6, 2023. I needed side vent. Worst design ever. Interior exhaust vent pipe is not 4 inch duct sizing. Cannot connect 4 inch elbow. Cannot connect 4 inch flex hose to interior male at blower. Had to bash open both the left and right vent holes with hammer and screw driver used like a chisel to get two hands into unit to jury rig connection. Louder than expected. Did good job drying though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far a good replacement dryer

We got this dryer to replace another GE dryer that had issues. So far it has been great. I use the casual setting the most & it dries everything just fine. The end of cycle buzzer has 2 settings & I use the lowest one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wound up with GE appliances by mistake. I actually picked out a different grand in the store and in the process of actually making the purchase the salesman had told me they were out of the brand I requested; I received a phone call at that time which distracted me when he told me had the GE models that offered more options, etc. However, it worked out to my benefit, I love the GE models, more options for cleaning, drying etc, plus the style is modern and stylish.
