when brand new closing door did not push the button in far enough to start the dryer

Bad wiring!!

I bought this washer/dryer set July 2016. I've had nothing but trouble with it since. A repairman finally put electrical tape on the wiring that was shorting out making the sensor setting not shut off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
